Available Scholarship Programs

1. Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program

The Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program allows Georgia taxpayers to redirect a portion of their state income tax to provide scholarship funding for students to attend private schools like Peachtree Academy.

Eligibility:

• Must be a Georgia resident

• Student must be either:

  • Entering Pre-K, Kindergarten, or 1st grade

  • Transferring from a Georgia public school

  • Previously qualified for an SSO scholarship

• Income eligibility applies

Application Process:

1. Apply to Peachtree Academy
   All families must complete the Peachtree Academy admissions process and be formally accepted before applying for the GOAL Scholarship.

2. Check Eligibility for GOAL
   Ensure your student qualifies under the program’s income and enrollment requirements. Visit goalstudent.org for full eligibility guidelines.

3. Complete the GOAL Application
   Once your student has been accepted to Peachtree Academy, complete the GOAL Scholarship application through the GOAL portal.

4. Await Scholarship Notification
   After submission, you’ll be notified of your award status and any next steps.

2. Georgia Promise Scholarship Program

The Georgia Promise Scholarship is a newly created state-funded scholarship providing families greater educational flexibility. It offers scholarships to qualifying students at approved private schools like Peachtree Academy.

Eligibility:

• Must be a Georgia resident

• Student must meet one of the following:

  • Previously enrolled in a Georgia public school for at least one year

  • Identified as having a disability or special education need

• Additional state-defined criteria may apply

Application Process:

1. Check Eligibility
   Visit the Georgia Department of Education to ensure your student meets the scholarship requirements.

2. Submit Georgia Promise Application
   Complete the application during the open window: June 1–30, 2025.

3. Select Peachtree Academy
   Choose Peachtree Academy as your participating private school.

4. Apply to Peachtree Academy
   Families must also complete the Peachtree Academy admissions process and be approved based on our academic and behavioral standards.

5. Watch for Notification
   Receive funding approval and next steps directly from the state.
