Understanding the Georgia Promise Scholarship
The Georgia Promise Scholarship provides eligible Georgia students with funding that may be used toward approved educational expenses, including private school tuition and fees. Families interested in using the scholarship at Peachtree Academy should first determine whether their student meets the program's eligibility requirements.
Could Your Student Be Eligible?
Eligibility is determined by the Georgia Promise Scholarship Program. Families should confirm that their student meets the current state requirements.
Public School Enrollment
The student must currently be enrolled and have been enrolled in a Georgia public school for the prior two consecutive semesters, or be entering kindergarten.
Eligible Attendance Zone
The student must reside in the attendance zone of a Georgia public school included on the state's current list of eligible attendance zones.
Georgia Residency
The student's parent or guardian must generally have been a Georgia resident for at least one year. An exception applies to qualifying active-duty military families.
