Growing With Purpose Since 2001
Founded in 2001, Peachtree Academy began with a focus on early childhood development and grew alongside the families and communities we serve.
From the beginning, our commitment to academic excellence, small class sizes and personal attention has helped shape the Peachtree experience. As our students and community grew, so did our programs, ultimately expanding into a complete college-preparatory educational experience.

Peachtree Academy Begins
Peachtree Academy opens as an early childhood development school with a commitment to providing a nurturing learning environment.
Continued Growth
One grade level is added each year as Peachtree expands its academic program to serve students through additional stages of their education.
Expanding Upper School
In response to increased demand, Peachtree Academy adds 10th and 11th grades and continues its progression toward a complete college-preparatory program.
A Complete PreK–12 Experience
Peachtree Academy becomes a full PreK–12 college-preparatory institution, giving students the opportunity to grow from their earliest school years through graduation.
Preparing Students for What's Next
Peachtree provides a comprehensive educational experience bringing together academics, athletics, fine arts, faith and opportunities for students from Preschool through 12th grade.

Leadership With Purpose
Peachtree Academy's leadership team works together to support students at every stage of their educational journey, from PreK through high school.
JaNice VanNess
JaNice VanNess established Peachtree Academy in 2001 to provide a nurturing Christian education rooted in academic excellence. Her leadership continues to guide Peachtree's growth, innovation and mission.
Jeanne Smith
Jeanne Smith leads school operations with a focus on collaboration, organization and creating an environment where students, families and staff can succeed.
Kim Boyd
Kim Boyd oversees Peachtree Academy's financial operations, supporting responsible stewardship and the school's continued mission and growth.
Mindy Gibbons
Mindy Gibbons provides academic and instructional leadership for students in PreK through 8th grade. She works closely with teachers, students and families to support student growth and foster a strong, connected school community.
Jim Eidson
Jim Eidson provides leadership for Peachtree Academy's high school students and academic programs, supporting student development and helping prepare students for graduation, college and the opportunities ahead.
Ken Van Ness
Ken Van Ness helps lead Peachtree Academy's athletic program with an emphasis on teamwork, character, leadership and excellence both on and off the field.
